A public notice was placed on the CSO #13 webpage with regards to the environmental review information for the project. This notice is required to be posted on the City Website and in the local paper for one day with a comment period of 30 days. This project will be separating the stormwater from the sewer main and installing new infrastructure along 12A in the vicinity of Romano Circle to include Romano Circle. This will alleviate overflows into the Connecticut River and will comply with the mandated Consent Decree that was agreed upon between the City of Lebanon and the US EPA.
The infrastructure in these areas is aging and in poor condition. The vast majority of the project work will occur in an approximately 2.6 acres (114,000 square foot) area of disturbance within previously developed City rights-of-way.
