Crisis Invention Team (CIT) Training 6/11/18-6/18/18


(Kirksville, MO) — Missouri CIT, under the auspices of the Missouri Crisis Intervention Team (MO CIT) Council, is a program that provides state approved specialized training & support for officers and their departments to respond more effectively to those experiencing a behavioral health crisis.


The NEMO CIT/Mental Health Advisory Council, is currently made up of 21 regional participating agencies/groups. NEMO CIT council is offering this one Basic CIT Academy this summer in Kirksville, Missouri.  NEMO CIT may offer another basic training in the fall of 2018.


The MO-CIT 40 hour Approved curriculum is designed to meet the new MO CIT guidelines for 2017 and beyond.

Due to the heightened importance of this training to the region there will be NO CHARGE for this academy & lunch is provided. However class size is limited.  A copy of the curriculum is attached.  IF YOUR LE AGENCY IS NOT A NEMO MEMBER- EACH ENTITY WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN NEMO CIT/MENTAL HEALTH ADVISORY COUNCIL.
