The delivery of mail and packages to some parts of the SOU campus will be affected by the university’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak and steps we are taking to comply with the governor’s stay-at-home order.

Facilities, Management and Planning staff will deliver packages and mail from noon to 2 p.m. on weekdays to Raider Student Services (previously known as the Enrollment Services Center), the Admissions Office, University Housing, Information Technology and the Student Health and Wellness Center.

Employees of all other offices or programs may pick up mail and packages between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Facilities, Management and Planning office, at 351 Walker St.

Many of the services offered by FMP can’t be completed remotely, and we have reduced staff to help decrease their chances of contracting or spreading the virus. Social distancing guidelines, which prevent two people from working in close proximity, also limit our ability to efficiently load and deliver mail and packages.

We plan to reassess our mailroom schedules before spring term begins on April 6.
