Regroup Offers Educational Institutions Free Mass Notifications for the Rest of 2020

August 12, 2020Jared Alfonso

Regroup Mass Notification, an award-winning provider of mass communication solutions, today announced it will be providing free access to its platform for the rest of 2020 for new Regroup clients in the education industry. All new contracts will receive the remainder of 2020 for free, as well as onboarding at no charge. School districts, individual schools, universities, and campus systems can begin using Regroup’s cloud-based mass notification platform within just 48 hours of signing up.

As schools prepare to reopen amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, effective channels of communication must be in place to alert students, parents and faculty of the many day-to-day changes, from online schooling protocols to missed assignments. Regroup Mass Notification is also a powerful tool in case of emergencies, including extreme weather events or threats of violence.

Now, and for the rest of the year, institutions from K-12 and higher education that sign up with Regroup for 2021 will be trained and empowered to use the company’s system to immediately send weather alerts, broadcast public health warnings, send policy updates, and keep their school communities safe and informed at all times.

Those who sign up with Regroup will get access to advanced mass communication features such as:

  • The ability to target notifications to specific areas with GeoFence messaging
  • Two-way communication via email, text/SMS, push notifications, desktop alerts and voice calls
  • A full suite of mobile apps for sending and receiving notifications on-the-go
  • The ability to configure unlimited groups, admins, and templates in each account
  • Built-in reporting dashboards and message delivery analytics
  • 24/7 support in the languages that they choose

Additionally, Regroup’s industry leading platform offers
seamless integrations with popular systems used in the education sector, such as Canvas, PowerSchool, Blackboard Learn, Ellucian and other LMS and SIS systems.

“Schools know of the importance of having an easy-to-use notification platform to get important messages out to those who need them,” said Chris Utah, COO of Regroup. “Schools, colleges, and universities use Regroup to send critical alerts and routine updates every day. By getting a jump-start on the new school year, these institutions will be well-prepared and save a lot of money during the economic uncertainty of 2020.”
